I use a set of neophene gloves to move meat around on my pit.  Give them a try, they are wonderful.

Good idea,  The wifes oven mits dont work for wet/bbq stuff on the grill thats for sure.  Burned me fingers more than once. ;D  Gona get a pair tomorrow. Thanks
