First with a smoker
« on: June 27, 2005, 03:30:22 PM »
Here is my first attempt with a smoker. Got the smoker for free however had to put about $25 into it...... The one on the left has a light coating of yellow mustard with kosher salt and course ground pepper - I think Randy suggested this - If I am wrong I apologize. The one on the right has a dry rub listed here as a favorite. Also using hickory with apple juice in the drip pan.

Thanks to all of you for your wealth of information. I have long been a griller but can see myself being easily consumed with smoking. My wife and I enjoy entertaining and I have already warned her that we might be working on a brick pit soon...... perhaps one that would also include a spot for pizza's
