Here's my dads famous eye of the round recipe
Get a whole round eye any size depends on how many people to feed
Mix up the sauce/rub as follows
1 teaspoon each of black pepper garlic & onion powder
1 cup brown sugar
2 tbls mustard
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
mix all above brush on all sides of the eye (this is going to make a candy like crust on the cooked eye yum)
grill over hot coals adding wood chips for smoke
sear on all sides baste with sauce as you turn
cook till med rare remove from grill & let rest covered for 10 min
slice thinly and serve with a small bowl of sauce for dipping
(you might have make more sauce for a large eye)

Mr. Bond, I had to look up eye of the round cut but that sure sounds good to me.

You can also smoke the eye & make the sauce to serve with it. Randy I live in Louisiana eye of the round roasts are plentiful here we get em @ sams, wal mart, winn dixie, or any local market. The link to the round eye you had in your post was a trimmed roast the ends were cut off, look for a whole one untrimmed. The two ends look like kinda like a capsule & the whole roast looks like a torpedo less the fins.

Our nearest Sam's is 90 miles away and our WinnDixie is scheduled to close with most of the other stores but I should be able to find it somewhere.
