Pat's Green Bean Salad

Here's my mom's green bean salad recipe.

12 slices bacon, fried crisp and chopped
2 (15 oz.) cans "french style" green beans, drained
1/2 cup mayonnaise
6 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
1/2 medium red onion, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste

Cook and chop bacon. Drain beans. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and refigerate for several hours.

Note: Mom say's that it's important to use good quality beans for this recipe -- "Green Giant" brand is preffered.
