1 RED ONION FINELY CHOPPED
8 CLOVES OF GARLIC FINELY CHOPPED
4 CUPS OF HEINZ KETCHUP
2/3 CUP CIDER VINEGAR
1/2 CUP LEA & PERRINS WORCESTERSHIRE
1 CUP BROWN SUGAR
1 1/2 CUPS OF MOLASSES
1 TSP FESHLY GROUND TELLICHERRY BLACK PEPPERCORNS
1 TSP KOSHER SALT
1/2 CUP TOMATOE PASTE
1 TSP TABASCO
4 TSP LIQUID HICKORY SMOKE
JACK DANIELS TO TASTE I used a 1/2 or maybe a full cup...I must of been drinking
Sautee' onion & garlic in the Jack until translucent (10min)
Add rest of ingredients...bring to boil
Simmer uncovered until reduced to desired thickness (15-25 min.)
AWESOME BBQ SAUCE for topping on pulled pork or just about anything!!
But...of course ya gotta LOVE the Jack Daniels flavor
