Not really barbecue chicken but grilled chicken 16" above charcoal. Seasoning, lemon pepper
Basting mop, homemade Italian dressing.
Cooking time 1 1/2 hours.

When I smoke a whole bird I put orange and lemon slices and celery tops in the cavity and run the smpker at 325- 350F. And I forgot a little worchestershire sauce and butter under the skin.
How does everyone else do it?

Brine the bird over night, dry in fridge 2-3 hrs, coat with canola or corn oil, lemon and fresh herbs in the cavity and smoke between 325 and 350.
